Everett Chase Graves: Academic & Athletic Profile

Boulder High is very rigorous academically, consistently ranking in the top 200 public high schools in the nation (177^th 2007/2008). Boulder High belongs to the Centennial League, the toughest athletic conference in the state, where they compete with perennial powerhouses such as Cherry Creek and Mullen High Schools. Despite the scholastic emphasis, entering Christmas break this year our basketball program was ranked 4^th in the state among 5A High Schools. We were ranked behind the likes of Denver East, Thunder Ridge and Eaglecrest; all three of which extended their seasons to the State’s Final Four.

· Big Heart Foundation - Leading fundraiser four consecutive years for annual BHS fund raiser

· Full Court Development- Donating time and percentage of profits to underprivileged youth athletes

· Junior Athletics of the Midwest (JAM) Volunteer Assistant Basketball Coach (4 teams grades 4-6)

ATHLETIC PROFILE

Competing in basketball, soccer, football, hockey and baseball, participated during 53 seasons of team sports prior to attending High School. With a profound love of Basketball, playing since age five, I have a passion to excel at the college level.

· Achieved career points 1,000 milestone for Boulder High School (5A) on 12/20/2008·

. Selected All Tournament Team 2008 Northeastern Boys Winter Hoops Spectacular (19.66 PPG)

. Leading Scorer 2008 FRHS Holiday Classic (22.33 PPG)

· Participated as the only non roster athlete in a Division II Men’s Basketball summer workout/scrimmage program

· Selected to play for the Colorado Chaos AAU Basketball Club 17’s Spring/Summer 2008

· On track to achieve 1,000 career points for Boulder High School (5A) during Senior season

· The only Junior to make the Boulder High Varsity Basketball team (Sweet 16 appearance)

· Selected as Team Captain Boulder High all four years

· Selected to play for Next Level AAU Basketball Club 15’s Spring/Summer 2006

· 2004 Tournament Slalom Champion (Juniors) at Silver Spray Water-ski Tournament

· Gold Crown competitive Basketball (4 yrs), JAM League (6 yrs)

. Attended 18 college camps including, Duke University, University of Wyoming, Michigan State University and 5-Star camps as

well as training individually with several former professional and Division I players
