ATHLETIC PROFILE

Competing in basketball, soccer, football, hockey and baseball during my youth, I participated during 53 seasons of team sports prior to attending High School. I understand what coaches expect from players. With a profound love of Basketball, playing since age five, I have a passion to play and coach basketball at the college level.

· Achieved career points 1,000 milestone for Boulder High School (5A) on 12/20/2008·

. Selected All Tournament Team 2008 Northeastern Boys Winter Hoops Spectacular (19.66 PPG)

. Leading Scorer 2008 FRHS Holiday Classic (22.33 PPG)

· Participated as the only non roster athlete in a Division II Men’s Basketball summer workout/scrimmage program

· Selected to play for the Colorado Chaos AAU Basketball Club 17’s Spring/Summer 2008

· The only Junior to make the Boulder High Varsity Basketball team (Sweet 16 appearance)

· Selected as Team Captain Boulder High all four years

· Selected to play for Next Level AAU Basketball Club 15’s Spring/Summer 2006

· 2004 Tournament Slalom Champion (Juniors) at Silver Spray Water-ski Tournament

· Gold Crown competitive Basketball (4 yrs), JAM League (6 yrs)

. Attended 18 college camps including, Duke University, University of Wyoming, Michigan State  University

and 5-Star camps as well as training individually with several former professional and Division I players

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

August 2005 – Present

Founder / Basketball Coach

Providing basketball skills and agility training sessions offering individual and group sessions and clinics with emphasis on Pride, Commitment, and Discipline. Successfully developed and executed a business plan to utilize my experience as an assistant coach of 19 youth basketball teams combined with knowledge and expertise gained during individual training sessions with many former professional and Division I players.

· Coached more than 500 individual player development sessions and group sessions/clinics

· Assistant Coach Hillsdale College (Division II) summer basketball camps (2007 & 2008)

· A percentage of profits are donated to benefit underprivileged youth athletes

Long Lake Water Sports, Reading, MI

May 1999 – Present (summers)

Founder / Owner /Coach

Providing seasonal residents with a resource for water sports equipment, ropes, and accessories. Coaching individual instruction sessions for Water & Slalom skiing, wakeboarding, knee boarding, and “land lock surfing”. Responsible for all aspects of the business including finance, marketing, inventory management, sales, and customer service; the foundation of the business.

· Successful in developing a business plan resulting in approval as a dealer for CraigCat Corp.

· Generated additional revenue through the purchase and resale of used water craft

· Generated additional revenue importing and selling various styles of Mexican blankets

Jonesville Lumber Company, Jonesville, MI

May 2003 – August 2006 (summers)

Customer Service Representative

As a sixth generation contributor to the family business fulfilled several different job descriptions working throughout the facility from the lumber yard, to the “drive through customer centric warehouse” (1 of 2 in the state) to the main show room. Responsible for assisting customers with purchases as well as managing “building loads” and delivering “loads”. During slow business hours responsible for many recurring manual tasks including but not limited to inventory stocking, facilities & grounds maintenance as well as roofing, painting, and other construction duties. Every position during my four year tenure required an emphasis on customer service; the foundation of the company.

Providing full service lawn maintenance and other landscape services. Responsibilities included all aspects of a start up business including Marketing, Sales, Service and Management of two employees. A strong work ethic & attention to Customer Service resulted in a profitable business with a growing customer base each and every year.

PERSONAL

A passion for playing and coaching basketball, training to play & coach at the next level. Playing the piano when I can. In addition to being a competitive water skier, I love the water and spend a significant amount of time enjoying all water sports. Integrity and loyalty are profoundly important to me; especially in personal relationships.
